Our “Get Right” Soil testing program is a tool that we encourage to use as a beginning step into Regenerative Ag. In order for us to help our customers start off on the right foot, we need to know what we are starting with. 

Not one soil is the same, not one farm is the same. Our soil testing protocols give us the most advanced insight into what has happened previously. 

When we work with new growers, our conversation begins with setting a goal. Once we define a goal then we need to put a plan in place. That plan will be defined based on soil testing information. 

We view soil testing in a complex method. In our opinion, not one soil test is a stand alone test. There are synergies that happen in the soil between soil biology and soil chemistry. In order to understand these synergies, or lack there of, we need to know what soil tests to run and have the proper understanding of each analysis. The test itself is only as good as the analyst.

We break fields out into comprehensive zones. These zones allow us to sample an entire field based on indicators we are looking for. When a core is pulled in that zone, a pin is dropped. This allows us to very precise with our sampling. Not every soil test should be reported at the same time. Chemistry analysis should be reported at different times than a biological indicator test. By pinning every sample point we can come back to those spots in the field and consistently test that area to gather precise data based on time of year.
